LEFT: The graves of some men who were buried in the area which became the War Cemetery were lost.
The grave stones commemmorating them are called Special Memorials. Inscribed on them are the words, “BURIED NEAR THIS SPOT”.
RIGHT: The grave of Malia, a man with the trade of Bhisti (Water Carrier) as made famous by Kipling in “Gunga Din”.
